Special moments

Hydrangeas in Hartlepool.  The roses haved peaked and now the hydranges are the wowers.
Here is our choir-Norma, Angela, June, and Shirley. They are amazing. They come Tuesday nights and on Sundays to practice. They sang two weeks ago. Their music added a good spirit to Sacrament meeting. I feel inadequate playing and singing alto.
These are our first Elders- Elder Parham (Florida) and Elder Turner (England). They are the ones that welcomed us to Hartlepool. Elder Turner was transfered this week. They were so patient with us.
Our neighbor, Eric, visited Wales. We enjoyed lunch together and learned so much. He visited the highest point in the UK, toured an old copper mine, and visited a power plant inside a mountain. That is the closest we will get to going to Wales.
Meet Ann and Ben. They are the first folks we visited here in Hartlepool. Ben wanted to learn to read. We challenged him to learn to read by reading the Book of Mormon. (If it works for the grandchildren, it should work for Ben.) We visited them after a week. They were on 1 Nephi 1:8. We asked if they would like us to read with them.  We started with prayer and then each of us read a verse. When it was Ben's turn he was actually reading mostly by himself. He said, "I surprised myself." It was a very touching and exciting moment. We went around three turns before he got tired.
