Gardens at Alnwick Castle

The terraced waterfall made a lovely backdrop.

Fountains filled the whole side of the hill. Note the passageway created with hedge.
We climbed to the top of the waterfall through the hedge and entered the gardens at the top.

The couples strolled through the gardens. We were amazed how the trees were pruned
 to make a wall.

A white dove perched on the birdhouse.

Near the gardens was the treehouse-a cafe with connecting swinging bridges.
