Hartlepool... As far as the eye can see

Christ's Church Tower in Hartlepool town center has a look out to view the panorma of  the city,  harbor, and marina.
The church was built in Gothic Revival Style in mid 1800's. It is now turned into visitor center and art gallery.
We choose a clear day to climb the 165 steps to the look out tower.

City Harbor-looking at the Headlands. In 1806 Ralph Ward Jackson had a dream to build a city of the East Coast of England to rival the huge port of Liverpool on the West Coast.  Hartlepool was the city to come from this dream.

Alot of our members live in the rows and rows of houses seen into the distance.
